H2H Scanner is a football match analysis tool that scans upcoming fixtures and identifies patterns in head-to-head (H2H) history between teams. Instead of manually researching each matchup, our system automatically analyzes historical data and highlights matches that meet the criteria you choose.
We fetch upcoming matches for the next 7 days and cross-reference them with historical H2H data, team form, league standings, and betting odds to give you a comprehensive view of each fixture.
The Filters at a Glance
At the top of the matches page there is a row of filter buttons. Only one filter is active at a time — pick a filter and the list below updates to show only the fixtures whose H2H history matches that pattern. Here is what each button does:
Streak — one team keeps winning the H2H
Over — high-scoring H2H games (total goals)
Under — low-scoring H2H games (total goals)
BTTS Yes — both teams score in the H2H
BTTS No — at least one team fails to score
Team O — a single team scores over a goal line
Team U — a single team stays under a goal line
Handicap — one team wins by a big margin
Most filters share two extra controls — a consecutive games selector and a lookback period — explained further down this page.
Filter: Streak
Finds matches where one team has won multiple consecutive games against their opponent in head-to-head meetings.
How it works:
•We look at all historical H2H matches between the two teams
•Starting from the most recent match, we count how many consecutive wins one team has
•If Team A won the last 3 H2H matches in a row, they have a "3-game winning streak"
•The streak breaks when the other team wins or there's a draw
Threshold options (2+, 3+, 4+, 5+):
2+At least 2 consecutive H2H wins by one team
3+At least 3 consecutive H2H wins by one team
4+At least 4 consecutive H2H wins by one team
5+At least 5 consecutive H2H wins by one team (rare)
Form column:
When this filter is active you'll see a "Form" column showing points earned by each team in their last 5 games (any competition). A win = 3 points, draw = 1 point, loss = 0 points. Maximum possible is 15 points.
Filter: Over (Total Goals)
Finds matches where the H2H history shows a run of high-scoring games — consecutive meetings that went over a chosen total-goals line.
Goal threshold options (2.5+, 3.5+, 4.5+, 5.5+):
Over 2.53 or more total goals (e.g. 2-1, 3-0, 2-2)
Over 3.54 or more total goals (e.g. 3-1, 2-2, 4-0)
Over 4.55 or more total goals (e.g. 3-2, 4-1, 5-0)
Over 5.56 or more total goals (e.g. 4-2, 3-3, 5-1)
GPG column (Goals Per Game):
With this filter active you'll see a "GPG" column showing each team's average total goals per game in their recent matches in the same competition. Hover the value to see how many games were used in the calculation.
Filter: Under (Total Goals)
The mirror image of the Over filter. Finds matches whose H2H history shows a run of low-scoring games — consecutive meetings that stayed under a chosen total-goals line.
Goal threshold options (under 1.5, 2.5, 3.5):
Under 1.51 or fewer total goals (e.g. 1-0, 0-0)
Under 2.52 or fewer total goals (e.g. 1-1, 2-0, 1-0)
Under 3.53 or fewer total goals (e.g. 2-1, 3-0, 1-1)
Filters: BTTS Yes & BTTS No
BTTS stands for Both Teams To Score. These two filters look for consecutive H2H games that all followed the same both-teams-scored pattern.
BTTS Yes
Both teams scored in each of the last few H2H meetings (e.g. 1-1, 2-1, 3-2). Useful for spotting matchups that reliably produce goals at both ends.
BTTS No
At least one team failed to score in each of the last few H2H meetings (e.g. 1-0, 0-0, 2-0). Useful for spotting tight, one-sided or defensive matchups.
Filters: Team O & Team U (Individual Team Goals)
These filters look at how many goals a single team scored in each H2H meeting — not the combined total. They're ideal when one side has consistently piled on (or been kept quiet on) the goals.
Team O — team goals over
A team scored more than the chosen line in each of the last few H2H games. Lines: 0.5+, 1.5+, 2.5+, 3.5+.
Example: "2.5+" means that team scored 3 or more goals every time.
Team U — team goals under
A team stayed under the chosen line in each of the last few H2H games. Lines: 0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5.
Example: "under 1.5" means that team scored 1 or fewer goals every time.
Filter: Handicap (Winning Margin)
Finds matches where one team has repeatedly won by a big goal margin in the H2H — a sign of a lopsided rivalry.
Margin options (1.5+, 2.5+, 3.5+, 4.5+):
1.5+Won by 2 or more goals (e.g. 2-0, 3-1)
2.5+Won by 3 or more goals (e.g. 3-0, 4-1)
3.5+Won by 4 or more goals (e.g. 4-0, 5-1)
4.5+Won by 5 or more goals (e.g. 5-0, 6-1)
Shared Control: Consecutive Games
Every filter except Streak has a consecutive-games selector (2+, 3+, 4+, 5+). It sets how many of the most recent H2H meetings must all match the pattern for the fixture to be shown.
2+ gamesThe last 2 H2H matches all fit the pattern
3+ gamesThe last 3 H2H matches all fit the pattern
4+ gamesThe last 4 H2H matches all fit the pattern
5+ gamesThe last 5 H2H matches all fit the pattern (strongest, fewest results)
Higher numbers mean a stronger, more reliable pattern — but fewer matches will qualify.
Shared Control: Lookback Period
The lookback period controls how far back we analyze H2H history. It applies to every filter.
AllConsider all historical H2H matches (recommended for most cases)
1YOnly H2H matches from the last 1 year
2YOnly H2H matches from the last 2 years
3YOnly H2H matches from the last 3 years
4YOnly H2H matches from the last 4 years

Tips for Best Results
✓Start with lower thresholds (2+) to see more matches, then increase to find stronger patterns
✓Raise the consecutive-games count to filter for the most reliable trends
✓Use the "All" lookback period for teams that play each other frequently (same league)
✓For cup matches between teams from different leagues, recent form may matter more than old H2H
✓Sort by Confidence to bring the strongest matches to the top of the list
✓Always check the H2H detail page to see the actual match results behind the statistics
✓Remember: past performance doesn't guarantee future results — use this as one factor in your analysis
